Swansea Leisure Centre is due to open in March 2008 after a £32 million makeover and rebranded as 'The LC Swansea'. The leisure centre's exterior is being revitalised by replacing the old concrete panels with clear glass, translucent glazing and timber panelling.
Proposals outlining a vision for Swansea's carbon future are now available online for feedback. People have from Wednesday (February 6) until Wednesday February 27 to make their views known about the plans. The Sustainable Energy Action Plan has been backed by Swansea Council's Cabinet and is available at http://www.swanseawiseplans.com/ for comment.
