The new SA1 development is the epitome of Swansea’s regeneration, bringing together quality architecture, top urban design and a community vision, all in a beautiful location.

The stunning area on the Swansea Waterfront will encompass a variety of residential, business and commercial properties. The vision of the SA1 development is to be a place of vibrant life, work and leisure, not set apart from the city, but right at the heart of it.

Development is well underway with many business and residents having already moved in. Already in action is the Village Hotel, which flung open its sliding glass doors in March 2007. With 115 hotel rooms, a restaurant, cafe, bar, and health club, it brings a buzz of life and business to the area.

The impressively crisp, prize-winning Sail Bridge connects SA1 to the existing Maritime Quarter and city centre. This pedestrian/cycle bridge, and also the nearby Trafalgar Bridge is integral to the development, keeping it very much a part of the city itself.

The development is also home to Waterfront Community Church, a dynamic new landmark building, where the Swansea Apostolic Church now meet. The Swansea Apostolic church have met together in Swansea since the 1920s, and have moved to SA1 to cater for a growing congregation. The church has conference rooms available for hire and a cafe lounge, and has two services on a Sunday as well as other weekday activities.
